In one line

A bold yet serene farmhouse retreat where luxury emerges from natural materials, light, and spatial harmony. Guided by Vastu, the home balances privacy and togetherness, anchored by a skylit central waterbody. Brass and stone age gracefully, creating a timeless sanctuary that evolves with its landscape and invites slow, peaceful living.

About the project

The concept for this farmhouse centers on creating a retreat that feels both dreamy and bold, where luxury unfolds through materiality, scale, and atmosphere rather than overt ornamentation. The architecture is envisioned as something that will age beautifully, becoming richer and more expressive over time. The exterior façade is composed of brass and natural stone, chosen for their ability to develop a patina and evolving surface textures. This gradual transformation reflects the philosophy that beauty is not static, but something that matures and deepens, allowing the house to gain emotional resonance through lived experience.
The spatial planning adheres to Vastu principles, carefully organizing the home to support well-being, balance, and intuitive movement. The house is designed to be both inward-focused for grounding and outward-facing for openness. Private zones—including bedrooms and personal lounges—are situated along the periphery, offering seclusion while maintaining strong visual relationships to greenery and landscaped views. Meanwhile, living and dining areas form the central social core, promoting connection and shared presence. This arrangement fosters a rhythm between privacy and togetherness, solitude and community.
At the center of the home is a waterbody positioned beneath a skylight, forming the emotional anchor of the design. Throughout the day, shifting natural light interacts with the reflective surface of the water, casting dynamic patterns onto walls and floors. At night, the skylight frames the night sky, transforming the space into a quiet observatory for stargazing, reinforcing the home’s link to nature and time.
Arrival is choreographed through a grand foyer that introduces the spatial language—expansive, refined, and serene. This foyer leads outward toward a lush landscaped garden that extends into views of a swimming pool, enhancing the sense of retreat, leisure, and escape from the everyday. The transition between inside and outside is soft and seamless, with verandas, decks, and open thresholds allowing nature to remain a constant presence.
Overall, the farmhouse is envisioned as a timeless sanctuary—a place where natural materials, crafted details, and spatial clarity come together to create an environment that feels grounding, rejuvenating, and emotionally resonant. It is a home designed to evolve, to be lived in slowly, and to offer an enduring sense of peace.
