INSQUARE DESIGNS
Founded in 2016 by Ar. Aman Soni and Janki Soni, INSQUARE DESIGNS is a multidisciplinary design studio offering end-to-end services in architecture and interior design. United by a shared passion for thoughtful and timeless design, the duo has shaped the studio into a space where creativity meets context and innovation meets intent.
INSQUARE DESIGNS believes in simplicity, functionality, and aesthetic clarity. Their work spans residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, with each design grounded in a deep understanding of site context — both present and historical. The firm’s approach is rooted in uncovering the soul of a space and translating it into a contemporary architectural language that is honest, elegant, and enduring.
Every project begins with an appreciation of its intrinsic character, allowing the designers to create interventions that are contextually relevant yet refreshingly modern. Whether it’s breathing new life into a historic setting or building from scratch, INSQUARE DESIGNS consistently aims to strike a balance between the past and the present.
Through this design philosophy, Aman and Janki Soni continue to shape spaces that are not only visually engaging but also emotionally resonant — delivering architecture that is mindful, meaningful, and made to last.
A refined banquet space where European charm meets modern elegance, Megma Banquet by INSQUARE DESIGNS is a Top 6 finalist in the Interior Design – Hospitality category at VOX Architecture Ideas 2024.
Area: 6500 sq.ft.
A Venue That Redefines Sophistication
In an ambitious bid to craft a truly memorable experience for every guest, the client envisioned Megma Banquet as more than just a venue — they dreamt of an immersive space that speaks the language of luxury and grace. With this intent, INSQUARE DESIGNS translated their vision into a breathtaking reality where ancient European aesthetics meet contemporary opulence.
Design Concept: Classic Meets Contemporary
The banquet’s interiors pay homage to the charm of European design through elements like stone-clad columns, Victorian wall sconces, and intricate mouldings. At its foundation lies an elegant canvas of Italian stone flooring etched with detailed patterns, anchoring the space with timeless style.
Gold foil accents on ceilings, columns, and mirrors amplify the ambience with a golden glow, further enhanced by Sabyasachi heritage wallpaper, bronze mirrors, and mosaic-detailed food counters. The result is an environment that feels warm, regal, and richly layered.
Zoned to Perfection: A Celebration in Every Corner
Divided into four distinct zones, the banquet ensures seamless flow and thoughtful user experience. Guests are welcomed by a passage that dazzles with interactive flooring and dramatic chandeliers. The stage area sits strategically in a serene nook, paired with private chambers for the bride and groom.
Opposite, a spacious seating zone offers an inviting setup with a mix of chairs and sofas against bronze-mirrored walls. At the rear, Victorian console units and ornate food counters connect seamlessly to the kitchen, delivering function with flair.
A Grand Space for Grand Occasions
Whether it’s an intimate wedding or a large-scale celebration, Megma Banquet is designed to leave a lasting impression — making every event feel like a page from a royal fairytale.
