Design Collab is an award-winning design and construction studio based in Thodupuzha, Kerala, founded in 2017 by Principal Architect Sufine Gazeeb. Known for its contemporary design ethos and context-driven approach, the firm has successfully delivered a wide array of projects across Kerala and Tamil Nadu—ranging from private residences and apartments to commercial, retail, institutional, and interior design works.
Under the leadership of Ar. Sufine Gazeeb, a graduate of MES School of Architecture, Kuttippuram, Design Collab brings together thoughtful spatial planning, practical execution, and architectural finesse. Before establishing the firm, Ar. Sufine honed his skills alongside two of India’s top 50 listed architects—Ar. Brijesh Shaijal of DAC, Calicut and Ar. Sebastian Jose of Silpi, Kochi—an experience that deeply influences his practice today.
Design Collab is committed to delivering work that balances design innovation with on-ground functionality. The studio continues to carve its niche in the southern Indian architectural landscape, marked by attention to detail, sustainable practices, and meaningful client collaboration.

Revolutionizing Workspaces for the Future: A Visionary Take on Office Design
The modern office is no longer just a place to work—it’s a catalyst for collaboration, innovation, and well-being. In this award-winning project, Design collab has crafted a transformative workspace that encapsulates the evolving narrative of contemporary office environments. The design challenges conventions with streamlined construction, cutting-edge materials, and an intuitive understanding of human-centric design.
Standardized Components & Construction Efficiency
At the heart of the project is a commitment to construction efficiency. By using standardized components, the firm streamlined building processes and reduced on-site time, ensuring cost and time efficiency without compromising on quality or design intent.
Steel: A Sustainable Backbone
With sustainability at its core, the structure utilizes steel—a highly recyclable material—minimizing environmental impact and promoting long-term resilience. The project’s innovative use of steel enables a remarkable 17-meter span, eliminating the need for intermediate columns and allowing for an open, flexible interior.
Lighting that Enhances and Energizes
The integration of polycarbonate sheets and an expansive glass façade floods the space with natural light, creating a vibrant and energy-efficient atmosphere. These features not only reduce reliance on artificial lighting but also create an inviting ambiance that connects the interior with the surrounding environment.
Design-Driven Functional Features
From the bold red sheet that offers both visual identity and easy spatial navigation to the sophisticated reception area that harmonizes modern hues with adaptability, every detail is designed with intent. Linear lighting enhances the spatial narrative, guiding movement and framing experiences with clarity and purpose.
Flexibility through Glass Partitions
The workspace redefines adaptability with strategic glass partitions that maintain openness while ensuring privacy and access control. These elements foster a balance between collaborative energy and focused individual productivity.
Creative Responses to Spatial Challenges
Design constraints, such as angled walls, are seen not as limitations but opportunities for artistic innovation. These areas become focal points, demonstrating how spatial quirks can enhance rather than hinder a design.
