Urban Thicket is a 4,200 sq. ft. contemporary residence by 4th Dimension, created through the seamless merging of two 4BHK apartments into a single expansive home. Designed for a young couple passionate about automation and modern living, it also accommodates three generations under one roof. The vision was to harmonize advanced technology with tactile comfort—where precision-driven systems coexist with layered materials and emotional warmth. The name “Urban Thicket” embodies this philosophy, inspired by the dense interplay of veneers, wood, and soft textures woven throughout the home.
The journey begins at a warm, veneer-clad foyer, leading to a serene marble mandir accentuated with soft lighting, offering a spiritual pause within the plan. The living room forms the social heart of the home, accommodating both intimate gatherings and larger occasions. Fluted veneer panels wrap the space in texture, interacting dynamically with sunlight throughout the day. This area flows seamlessly into the dining and kitchen, separated by a metallic custom screen that reinforces openness while maintaining visual continuity.
The dining area adjoins a functional, large kitchen with digitally printed veneer shutters, balancing vibrancy and grounded everyday usability. One wing houses the master suite, featuring a private lounge, dual walk-in wardrobes, a crafted veneer bed-back, and a spa-like bathroom. The opposite wing contains three bedrooms and a multipurpose room, each maintaining distinct identities yet unified through CNC-cut veneer doors, marquetry wardrobes, and textured tile combinations.
A cozy lounge finished in self-textured veneer provides a quieter counterpoint to the formal spaces. Throughout the home, veneers in fluted, checked, chevron, and marquetry finishes are paired with metallic PU, wallpapers, and refined lighting to create a layered material language.
An expansive, mountain-facing balcony completes the experience, offering an everyday retreat that anchors the home in calm and connection.
