Soam Villa in Lonavala: The Instagrammable Getaway That Breaks the Mold

In a gated community where every villa looks like a copy of the next, Vinay and Ekta had one request: make our space stand out. And that’s exactly what Nidhi Mishra and Karan Bahel of Nika Design Studio did with Soam Villa—a vibrant, rental-friendly escape that adds warmth, Instagram-worthy aesthetics, and smart reprogramming to an otherwise uniform layout.

The Pool Became the Star

Instead of following the original layout, the design team flipped the script. They moved the living area to the pool-facing side—because why not let guests lounge where the view is best?

• Bedroom + Kitchen = Open Living + Pantry

• Pool views + Natural Light = Instant Appeal

This shift gave the home a more open, social layout—perfect for weekenders looking to unwind in style.

Arches, Corners & Character

One of the standout moves? Introducing arched windows to the front façade.
It’s a simple design tweak, but one that instantly breaks the monotony and adds a soft, Mediterranean flair. These curved visuals carry throughout the interiors in subtle forms—making the space feel curated, not cookie-cutter.

Sit, Click, Repeat

Let’s face it—today’s travelers want a place that looks good in photos. So the team focused on designing stylish sit-out zones, inside and out:

• Cozy corners

• Picture-perfect backgrounds

• Natural textures that shine on camera

This isn’t just a villa; it’s a scroll-stopper.

Smart Design on a Budget

Yes, the design is eye-catching—but it’s also budget-friendly and low-maintenance. Materials were chosen for durability and ease, keeping in mind that the property will host a rotating set of guests.

Soam Villa proves that rental homes don’t have to be boring or overly extravagant. They just need a little design magic.

📍 Soam Villa isn’t just another bungalow in Lonavala—it’s a blueprint for how thoughtful interior design can elevate short-term stays and create lasting impressions.
