Tres Atelier is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Maharashtra, founded by architects Ar. Suchit Mutha and Ar. Mandar Khele. The studio specializes in architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, and environmental/graphic design, delivering contextually relevant solutions that are as functional as they are expressive. Rooted in the philosophy of designing across the three elements—Land, Air, and Water—Tres Atelier approaches every project with a vision to balance nature, space, and experience.
With a diverse portfolio of over 115 completed projects, ranging from compact 300 sq.ft. interiors to expansive 300,000 sq.ft. developments, the firm has made its mark across residential, commercial, hospitality, institutional, and master planning typologies. Each project is guided by a commitment to thoughtful spatial planning, environmental consciousness, and design innovation.
At Tres Atelier, design is not merely about form-making—it is about storytelling through space. Their collaborative and research-driven process ensures that every structure responds to its users, its site, and its larger socio-cultural context.

Located within Connplex Cinema Theatre in Ahilyanagar, The Alluring Lobby reimagines a conventional entertainment space into an experiential journey grounded in nature and nostalgia. Designed by the multidisciplinary studio Tres Atelier, the lobby draws creative inspiration from Asia’s largest banyan tree, the majestic Pemgiri Banyan Tree. Through this thoughtful reference, the architects craft a spatial narrative that goes beyond function—becoming a metaphor for community, rootedness, and escape.
Rich blue hues are layered across the space, with a deliberate play of matte and glossy finishes adding depth and dimension. The centerpiece—a dramatic chandelier composed of pipe-like forms—evokes the tangled, iconic roots and branches of the banyan, creating a theatrical yet organic canopy. It crowns the lobby like a glowing, structural sculpture, mimicking the natural interplay of light and shadow beneath a banyan’s shade.
The layout incorporates an oval-shaped F&B zone, reminiscent of a katta (community gathering spot), reinforcing the idea of shared human experiences beneath nature’s embrace. The design integrates natural materials throughout, creating warmth and comfort in a setting often dominated by sterile lighting and synthetic textures.
Tres Atelier, founded by architects Suchit Mutha and Mandar Khele, has built a strong reputation for blending contextual references with contemporary aesthetics across a range of architectural and interior design projects.
