Tucked away in the quiet streets of Panchkula, Haryana, this thoughtfully crafted residence by Exubia Studio offers a modern architectural response to the needs of privacy, natural light, and peaceful living. Designed around a central courtyard, the villa opens up into a spatial experience that feels as intuitive as it is inspiring.
At the core of the project is a deliberate interplay between openness and seclusion. Large windows frame views of the internal courtyard—home to a tranquil fountain—ushering in daylight and calm while keeping external distractions at bay. With wellness as a central theme, the space fosters reflection, meditation, and connection with nature, all while maintaining energy efficiency through passive design strategies.
A minimalist interior scheme, accentuated by locally sourced Indian granite, ties the project together. Every surface and opening is intentional, supporting the flow of air and emotion alike. The use of warm textures and honest materials ensures a tactile richness, while the restrained palette creates a backdrop of timeless elegance.
What sets this home apart is its sensitive engagement with its surroundings. Facing a four-storey residential block housing judicial officers, the architects employed strategic façade interventions to shield views and soften harsh sunlight, ensuring both privacy and comfort without sacrificing openness.
