About the Project
At first glance, the Appricus 2 site office might appear to be just a temporary structure—but look again, and it quickly reveals itself as a bold architectural statement. Designed by Saumil Patel and Prashant Trivedi of Squelette Design, this site office isn’t just a utility space—it’s a symbolic gateway to the high-rise condominium project it precedes.
Located strategically at the entrance of the site, just before a major flyover bridge intersection, the office commands visibility—serving as both a functional space and an eye-catching brand marker for what’s to come.
A Concrete Frame for Visibility
One of the defining elements of the structure is a towering RCC wall, twice the height of the glass office building it flanks. This isn't just a structural feature—it plays a pivotal branding role. Serving as a dramatic backdrop, the wall showcases the Appricus branding in a way that's immediately visible to commuters traveling along the flyover.
It's more than a wall—it’s architectural signage that works around the clock.
A Glass Cube That Floats in Light
Contrasting beautifully with the solidity of the concrete, the main structure is a sleek glass box, geometrically clean and precisely proportioned. It’s oriented toward the northeast to maximize natural daylight, illuminating the interiors and creating a workspace that feels open, modern, and alive.
By elevating the cube off the plinth, Squelette Design introduces a sense of weightlessness—a nod to the vertical aspirations of the upcoming high-rise. The visual interplay between the transparent glass and the dense concrete creates a compelling dialogue of form and material.
Architecture as a Teaser Trailer
The design of the Appricus 2 site office acts as a preview of the design language for the upcoming residential development—refined, responsive, and deeply rooted in the modernist approach that defines Squelette Design’s architectural ethos. Known for blending clarity of form with contextual awareness, Squelette Design continues to push the boundaries of functionality and elegance in commercial and residential projects across India.
This site office, although temporary in purpose, stands as a lasting first impression—carefully curated to inspire curiosity, reflect the project’s identity, and raise expectations.
