Nestled in the heart of Thrissur, House of Nature is not just a residence—it’s a biophilic masterpiece that reimagines what it means to live in harmony with the earth. Designed by Muaz Rahman Architects, the home is a private sanctuary where cascading waterfalls, vertical gardens, and an olive tree define the architectural narrative. It’s a place where the outdoors is not a backdrop, but a living, breathing part of daily life.
The layout follows an “H” plan, striking a delicate balance between openness and seclusion. This architectural strategy allows for natural ventilation, passive cooling, and enhanced privacy—essentials in Kerala’s tropical climate. Slanted skylights bring daylight deep into the interiors, while large windows frame the ever-changing sky and foliage.
What sets this home apart is its ability to make stillness feel dynamic. Every element—from the lime plaster walls to the exposed concrete ceilings—feels intentional and immersive. Wood, stone, and water are not used ornamentally but are woven into the very spirit of the space.
