A Geometric Ode to Minimalism and Nature

Set on a 1.75-acre former farmland at the edge of Indore, The TRIADS is a boutique resort that celebrates the elegance of geometry, the discipline of minimalism, and the serenity of nature. Designed by EcoMind Studio, the project is a bold exploration of form—anchored in the concept of the equilateral triangle, which guides the layout, structure, and detailing of the resort.

Design Philosophy

At its core, TRIADS is a study in simplicity and balance. The triangle serves not only as an architectural motif but also as a planning principle, creating a visual and spatial harmony throughout the resort. Each cottage and built form has been meticulously shaped to reflect this geometric consistency, while embracing contemporary minimalism and natural textures.

Spatial Layout

The resort comprises three interconnected cottages that face a centrally positioned swimming pool and open green deck. A fourth suite cottage, slightly detached, features a dramatic cantilevered roof and enjoys additional privacy. Every unit includes an open-plan washroom with an adjoining outdoor bathing area, seamlessly blending built space with landscape.

Thoughtfully designed private patios, cast in situ benches, and green pockets offer moments of retreat and reflection—encouraging guests to slow down and reconnect with the surroundings.

Materiality & Construction

Built with Puf panels and a steel framework, the structures are lightweight yet robust. The interiors feature cast in situ furniture, PVC ceilings, and sustainable design elements like Mianzi bamboo lights that add warmth and character. The material palette—comprising ACP panels, glass, and polished concrete—strikes a refined balance between functionality, economy, and aesthetics.
