About the Project
Dente 32, a dental clinic located in Junagadh, Gujarat, redefines the experience of healthcare design through the lens of Minimal Wellness. Envisioned for an implantologist and their team, the 1,600-square-foot space was conceived to balance precision, comfort, and efficiency — creating an environment that is as functional as it is soothing. The brief was clear: to design a space that feels clean, calm, and contemporary while meeting the technical rigor of a clinical setup.
The layout is carefully planned to support both patient experience and staff workflow. It includes a reception area, operatories, an X-ray room, doctor’s cabin, autoclave space, pantry, and rest zone — all connected by a well-defined circulation path that distinctly separates patient movement from staff activity. Every corner adheres to healthcare compliance standards, with hygienic and durable materials forming the foundation of the design.
The guiding concept of Minimal Wellness shapes every aspect of the clinic’s identity. Clean lines and soft forms establish an atmosphere of ease and clarity, while a serene palette of greens, beiges, greys, and whites creates a visual sense of calm. Subtle natural wood and stone accents bring warmth to the otherwise sterile clinical environment, bridging functionality with an understated sense of luxury. Lighting, both functional and ambient, is strategically integrated to enhance focus during procedures while providing emotional comfort to patients.
Design development involved meticulous consultations, movement mapping, and ergonomic analysis to ensure seamless operations. The underfloor service design allows for hidden utility integration, maintaining spatial cleanliness and accessibility. Attention to detail extended to every material choice, from antibacterial surfaces to acoustically balanced partitions.
The design team employed detailed 3D visualizations, material mock-ups, and on-site coordination to achieve accuracy in execution. Custom carpentry solutions were developed for optimized storage and clutter-free workspaces, enhancing both aesthetics and efficiency.
Ultimately, Dente 32 transcends the idea of a conventional clinic. It becomes a modern, human-centered space that merges precision with serenity — a design that not only facilitates healing but embodies it. Through minimalist sophistication and functional harmony, the clinic reflects the evolving face of healthcare design — one rooted in clarity, care, and calm confidence.
