About the Project
There are homes that impress instantly, and others that reveal themselves slowly. Oak House 1 belongs to the latter — a residence designed for a young family and their elderly parents, where quiet intention replaces spectacle. Every detail is guided by warmth, restraint, and authenticity, creating a space that feels calm, grounded, and deeply personal.
The home’s material palette reflects this philosophy — natural and black-stained oak, marble flooring, linen drapery, and tones of beige, rust, olive, and green. These elements come together in soft harmony, evoking comfort and quiet sophistication. Textures take precedence over ornamentation, allowing the materials to breathe and the architecture to speak in an understated, timeless voice.
The living and dining areas form the social core of the home — a flowing, open zone that encourages interaction and ease. A rust-toned sectional anchors the living space, paired with a sculptural lounger that adds both artistry and function. The dining area, with its versatile layout, becomes a hub for shared meals and conversations. Natural light filters through linen curtains, softening the atmosphere and enhancing the tactile palette. The open kitchen blends seamlessly into this communal space, supporting the family’s daily rhythm. A combined pooja and storage unit stands quietly between the functional and the spiritual, tying the design narrative together.
Private zones are shaped by the personalities and routines of their inhabitants. The master bedroom embraces minimalism with soft lighting, tactile fabrics, and a built-in window seat that invites reflection. The daughter’s room introduces playfulness through gentle greens, curved lines, and balanced compositions that encourage creativity. The grandparents’ room exudes comfort and familiarity — warm wood tones, subtle textures, and thoughtfully placed lighting ensure accessibility and ease.
Oak House 1 is not about grandeur; it is about grace. It values authenticity over ornament, experience over exhibition. Every space is crafted to be lived in, touched, and felt — a home that reveals its warmth quietly over time. Rooted in natural materiality and emotional connection, it stands as an ode to everyday beauty, thoughtful design, and sincere living.
