About the Project
An understated retail space crafted in a soft, minimalist language, the interior blends simplicity with sophistication through natural light, muted textures, and organic curves. Designed on the first floor of a commercial building, the store reflects contemporary minimalism with clean lines, uncluttered volumes, and a pervasive beige palette paired with organic furniture. To optimize the compact floor area, a 45 cm extension was taken inward above the ground-floor sunshade, creating additional room for garment displays.
The northern display zone is divided into three sections by curved walls punctuated with full-height glass panels, doubling as a distinctive façade feature. Smooth matte finishes enhance the serene aesthetic, while the curves subtly highlight key fashion displays. The building’s atypical geometry informed strategic planning—irregular corners hold the stair core, and residual pockets house utilities like the electrical room.
A minimal false ceiling is used only along the periphery and over the dressing area to conceal ducts, preserving maximum height elsewhere. The neutral palette is elevated with metallic brown accents on the billing counter and hangers, adding refined contrast. Natural elements—woven rattan pendants, plush upholstery, arched windows, and curved furniture—enrich the space with warmth, tactility, and cohesive elegance.
