About the Project
Set amidst Chandigarh’s lush green backdrop, Curve Haven by Studio Flux redefines the language of contemporary luxury through its sculptural, fluid architecture. The residence is envisioned as a seamless dialogue between form and movement—where every curve, surface, and opening feels deliberate, graceful, and alive. A dramatic cylindrical volume at the entry, crowned by a circular skylight, becomes the home’s defining feature. It sets the tone for an experience where architecture flows rather than stands still.
The design eliminates sharp corners and rigid boundaries, allowing walls to bend and spaces to merge organically. This absence of right angles creates soft transitions and a continuous sense of movement that intuitively guides one through the house. The result is an environment that feels both dynamic and calming—an architectural meditation in motion.
At the heart of the home lies a soaring 20-foot foyer, defined by a 12-foot entrance door that establishes a strong visual axis between the front and rear lawns. Above, the circular skylight filters daylight that changes tone throughout the day—casting ever-evolving shadows that transform the space with time. This interplay of light and volume turns arrival into a luminous ritual, connecting earth and sky in perfect equilibrium.
Materiality anchors this sense of fluidity. Textured Perlina finishes in warm, earthen hues bring tactile richness, while expansive glass openings blur the boundaries between interior and landscape. Dark-framed circular windows act as sculptural punctuations—each framing a carefully curated view and balancing openness with privacy. The interiors echo this softness through custom curved pelmets, furniture edges, and ceiling profiles that maintain visual continuity across every space.
In contrast, the bathrooms offer a touch of playful sophistication with navy Kit-Kat tiles arranged in a Herringbone pattern, introducing rhythm and depth within compact, intimate volumes. Subtle lighting accents enhance the material interplay, adding layers of warmth and quiet drama to the atmosphere.
Throughout Curve Haven, Studio Flux celebrates the poetry of curvature—where architecture becomes emotion, and light becomes movement. It is not merely a house but a sensorial experience—one that harmonizes precision with fluidity, structure with softness, and design with the quiet pulse of nature.
