Srishti is a contemporary commercial landmark rooted in local identity. A brick plinth grounds the structure, while transparent glazing and a dynamic perforated screen create openness, lightness, and climate responsiveness. Landscaped terraces and intuitive planning center human well-being, forming a workplace that is sustainable, connected, and evolving with its urban context.

Project Name: Srishti

Location: D 268 P, Phase 8B, Industrial Focal, Mohali

Year: 2025

Area: 45866 sq. ft.

The Srishti Building sets a new benchmark for commercial architecture in the Tricity by harmonizing contextual sensitivity with a forward-looking design ethos. The project responds thoughtfully to its urban setting while offering an identity that feels both rooted and progressive. Anchored on a solid brick plinth, the structure draws from local construction traditions and the material legacy of the region, allowing it to feel timeless, grounded, and familiar within its context. This robust base provides a sense of permanence, stability, and civic presence.

Above this grounded foundation, a transparent glass façade introduces a contrasting language of openness and lightness. The transparency is not solely aesthetic — it reflects the values of visibility, trust, and connectivity. The façade allows natural light to permeate the interiors throughout the day, reducing reliance on artificial lighting while creating uplifting, daylit work environments that enhance comfort and productivity. The building becomes visually porous, encouraging a dialogue between interior activities and the larger urban landscape.

Crowning the structure is a dynamic perforated metal screen, its parametric geometry inspired by natural patterns and environmental rhythms. This feature provides more than visual identity; it moderates sunlight, reduces heat gain, and contributes to the building’s environmental performance, creating a sustainable envelope that responds intelligently to climate. The result is a façade system that is both sculptural and purposeful.

The building is enriched with landscaped terraces, planted decks, and green ground-level interfaces, weaving nature into the vertical spatial experience. These green elements soften transitions between built form and environment, offering respite spaces and fostering well-being. The landscape becomes part of daily movement — visible, accessible, and nurturing.

Internally, the planning places human experience at its core. Circulation pathways are intuitive, functional zones are adaptable, and communal spaces are integrated to encourage collaboration, interaction, and cultural exchange. The building is not rigid; it is designed to evolve with the needs of its occupants.

Ultimately, Srishti aspires to become more than a workplace. It is envisioned as a vibrant, sustainable urban landmark — celebrating innovation, the presence of nature, and the evolving spirit of the city.
